Back to November 1991 for this upload, where the highlight is seeing the class 50 hauled Valiant Thunderer railtour. 50 008 & 50 015 had been specially repainted for railtour duties at the end of calss 50 operation. We start at Plymouth and see the Night Riviera (my train to the south west) depart for Penzance before seeing operations at Paignton. There are shots of BR DMU's as well as a class 155. The tour arrives behind the 50s before emptying out and departing for Goodrington Sidings. We also capture a special working on the Paignton & Dartmouth Railway with a class 25, run especially for the railtour participants.
