গত বছর বিবিএস এর অর্থনৈতিক শুমারিতে দেশের প্রায় ৩ ভাগ ইউনিট জরিপের আওতায় আসেনি। শুমারির প্রাথমিক ফলাফলের পর সারাদেশে আবার নমুনা জরিপ বিশ্লেষণ করে, গবেষণা সংস্থা বিআইডিএস এমন তথ্য পেয়েছে। এমন ত্রুটির জন্য প্রকল্পের বাজেট স্বল্পতা, তথ্য দিতে প্রভাবশালী ব্যক্তি ও প্রতিষ্ঠানের অনীহাকে দায়ী করছেন সংশ্লিষ্টরা। মঙ্গলবার বিআইডিএস ভবনে এক সেমিনারে এসব কথা বলা হয়।
Last year, about 3 percent of the country's units were not covered by the BBS economic census. After analyzing the initial results of the census, the research organization BIDS found such information by analyzing sample surveys across the country. Those concerned are blaming the project's budget shortage and the reluctance of influential individuals and institutions to provide information for such errors. These things were said at a seminar at the BIDS building on Tuesday.
