Here I was on Christmas day, wandering around deep in the Sonoran desert admiring all the amazing native and non-native cactus all la-dee-da-dee-da when I suddenly realized that I had lost my way. I was running low on water and I had not packed any food... what was I going to do?? I must find shelter - will a Palo Verde tree do? I must find food - will a Ferocactus or Saguaro do? Somehow armed with a fully charged camera and my microphone ready to go we search for food amongst the flora but not so much the fauna - this is my harrowing tale of desert survival. Is this the end of Cookie's Cacti???
