Описание к видео More AUTHENTIC Techniques!- Seam Treatments Part TWO !

Hi Folks, Welcome to Part two of the seam’s series. Lets talk’ MORE seam treatments! Covering 3 additional handy Viking Age techniques. The Butted seam, The Lapped seam, and finally a Rolled Fell, or Stand-Up seam. Learn an almost invisible whip stitch, tips for inserting gores and lots more!

If you haven't yet seen Part One of the series, check that out here:    • Viking Age SEAM TREATMENTS-Part ONE- ...   for lots of useful info on seams in general including the average size and spacing of stitches, why we use seam treatments and don't just leave seams unfinished inside garments, and the three basic seam treatments you need to get started.

Before we dive in, you will need to know how to do the three basic sewing stitches used in the viking age. Running stitch, back stitch and whip stitch. If you haven’t learnt these yet, don't panic, check out this video,    • Sew like a Viking! BEGINNERS Guide to...   which will take you through the techniques for each of these three stitches.
