Rizal Park Redevelopment Update

This is the latest updates on the Rizal Park redevelopment project.

Lapu-Lapu Statue Back in Place: The iconic Lapu-Lapu statue, removed for maintenance, has been restored and returned to the park. It now stands proudly in a new location facing the central area.

Eastern Portion Undergoing Rehabilitation: The eastern part of the park is still under construction, but a new entrance is already open for visitors.

Park Modernization Progressing: The overall project aims to revitalize and modernize the park. New, wider roads have been built within the park, lined with new lamposts.

Completion Expected This Year: The entire project is expected to be finished by the end of 2024.
