Sydney's Central Station

Sydney Central Station is the Hub of the NSW Transport System.
Come to think of it.. It's the hub for most of Australia.
Think about it, Sydney Central is linked to Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth (via Adelaide on the Indian Pacific).

Here's Central Station in a nutshell.
Intercity & Interstate Platforms:
Platforms 1-3: Interstate.
Casino XPT
Grafton XPT
Brisbane XPT
Melbourne XPT
Dubbo XPT
Armidale & Moree Xplorer
Canberra Xplorer
Broken Hill Xplorer
Indian Pacific to Adelaide & Perth
Platforms 1-3 also have T7 Olympic Park services (Special Events Only).

Platforms 4-15: Intercity Platforms.
Blue Mountains Line to Springwood, Katoomba, Mount Victoria, Lithgow & Bathurst.

Central Coast & Newcastle Line to Gosford, Wyong & Hamilton.

South Coast Line to Kiama.

Southern Highlands to Goulburn.

These Platforms also have T7 Olympic Park services (Special Events Only).

Upstairs Suburban Platforms:
Platform 16: North Sydney, Hornsby, Berowra, Wyong via Gordon & Macquarie University services.

Platform 17: T2 & T3 City Circle via Town Hall services.

Platform 18: T1 Blacktown, Penrith, Emu Plains, Richmond services

Platforms 19: T2 Leppington, Homebush, Campbelltown services

Platform 20: T2 & T3 City Circle via Museum services

Platform 21: T2 & T3 City Circle via Museum services

Platform 22: T3 Liverpool & Lidcombe via Bankstown services

Platform 23: T2 Kingsgrove, Revesby, East Hills, Campbelltown & Macarthur via Airport services

Underground Platforms:
Platform 24: T4 Bondi Junction services

Platform 25: T4 Hurstville, Sutherland, Cronulla, Waterfall, Helensburgh - Wollongong, Port Kembla & Kiama services

Central Station does have two ghost Platforms. Platforms 26 & 27.
Construction on both of these Platforms was never completed.
It's said that these Platforms were suppose to convey trains to and from Sydney's Northern Beaches.
