This design is based on a deltoidal hexecontahedron.

I got the inspiration from Paul Robinsons "Unity Dome" design. You can find his video here ( • UnityDome Most efficient dome free plans ). Be sure to check him out and look out for his new book on geodome geometry.

I modeled out the polyhedron and changed the orientation and design of the opening. I also ended up with some discrepancies from Paul's dihedral angles but I'm not sure how that arose.

The dihedral angles I used were:

Short strut ripped 19.3
medium length strut ripped 8.8
long strut ripped at 90
