Hey everyone,
Its been a while since I uploaded anything, but I got my hands on the PS4 a couple of days ago and immediately got stuck into Battlefield 4!

I had no problems at all when it came to hooking up my Turtle Beach X11 headset for sound from the PS4, however sending/receiving chat is a problem since the PS4 controller's input/output is a 3.5mm jack, unlike that on the Xbox 360 with the 2.5mm jack.

So I looked around for info on whether there is a work around and I found Turtle Beach are selling a "Chat Cable" for exactly this purpose! (See the link below)

Unfortunately though, It seems they are only available to customers in the USA at the moment, so I decided to embark on a little mission to make my own.

IMPORTANT:
The video explains already, but make sure you get a 3.5mm plug that has 3 rings on it instead of the usual 1 or 2 rings (mono/stereo). You'll see them referenced as "4 pole", "3.5mm AV", "TRRS"etc.

Whatever you call it, just make sure it has 3 rings or the controller won't detect the presence of a headset. :)
