Sticking to your guns in an ever advancing sector such as the Digital Camera Space doesn't always work out no matter how good your intentions were, or are. If components are no longer being made and you've always relied on a supplier to provide said parts, what do you do if they reduce or worse, full stop producing the parts? Now, the conundrum is that you've started developing the new product and now there's parts it requires that can no longer be acquired, what do you do then? Especially since you've made a stand that "We are sticking with this design of camera" When everyone else has developed and advanced the next generation of camera by an exponential amount in a short period of time. What do you do? Go back on your statement? Try to find a supplier that can build the type of components you need? It's a very sticky situation to be in.
