How New Media Platforms Shape Development Communication in the Philippines

Hi everyone, this is my answer to the question: ““In the context of the Philippines, will new media/platforms (Internet radio, e-books, etc.) have a role in development communication work? Support your argument with relevant literature.”

To keep this conversation going, I have 2 discussion questions for you:

1. For people in remote areas who are often overlooked, how can local governments and NGOs find ways to use new media platforms to truly help them without making it harder for those who already struggle with internet access?

2. With so many content creators who have their own special skills and styles, how can they adapt their work to create development communication materials that people in the Philippines would love and relate to while still ensuring these materials teach and inspire?
