How To Make A Slingshot Band Tying Jig

How to make a simple, and reliable slingshot band tying jig with basic tools for under $10! I have been contemplating this project for ages. Decided to buy it at one point. But they are very expensive and not widely available. I finally got the inspiration I needed while browsing the slingshot forums. Then I just formed a plan in my head and set about trying to make it in the simplest way possible. The only thing I had to buy where the clamps and they where only like a dollar each, so for me it was only a couple of bucks. If you have to buy the rod and the wood it will be more. I found the metal rod for $3 and you can find the wood for between $2 and $4. So altogether that's $9 which is under $10 :). This project only requires the most basic tools to make and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. I have already used it to make 4 band sets and I am absolutely in love with it. :)
