I cycled through lure after lure, determined to figure the fish out… and then I tied on one of my least confident baits, the chatterbait. That’s when everything changed. After struggling all day, the chatterbait finally unlocked the bite, and I started catching bass when nothing else worked. This day completely changed the way I look at the chatterbait, and I feel like I finally leveled up my skills with it.
