As a tactical shooter set in an expansive open world, "Ghost Recon Breakpoint" builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, "Wildlands". Players step into the shoes of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony "Nomad" Perryman, a member of the elite "Ghosts" special operations unit. The game's vast and diverse landscape of Aurora presents numerous tactical opportunities, allowing players to use the terrain to their advantage, whether it's sliding down rocky slopes or using mud as camouflage. With a wide selection of air, land, and sea vehicles at their disposal, players can traverse the game world in a variety of ways, or opt for a stealthier approach to silently neutralize enemies. "Breakpoint" also introduces an array of new weapons and gear, such as blowtorches for cutting through fences, sulfur gas grenades for lethal takedowns, and electromagnetic pulse grenades to disable drones and vehicles. The game's attention to detail extends to features like the ability to carry away fallen enemies and teammates, adding an extra layer of immersion and realism to the experience.
