Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another partner.

MCC proudly works with the North American Islamic Shelter for the Abused (NISA), which shelters women fleeing abuse and provides skills and resources to become self-sufficient.

This sermon was given on February 20, 2009 at the San Ramon Valley Islamic Center (SRVIC) in San Ramon, California. This talk was delivered via the Muslim Community Center - East Bay (MCC East Bay) in Pleasanton, California.
