There's a new digital fingerprinting service in town.

And it claims to live up to its name.

Fingerprinting Express has been open in Northern Nevada for more than 10 years.

Well today, it hosted a ribbon cutting at a new location here in Las Vegas.

The business owner said that Governor Sandoval requested that she open a Southern Nevada location because of their quick turnaround times that allow people to get to work faster.

Many jobs here require fingerprinting background checks.

Now the company even offers discounts fees to non-profits, teachers and volunteers.

In Northern Nevada, we discounted over $20,000 in fingerprint fees in 2016 alone and we're excited to continue that discount here in Southern Nevada.

We also encourage people to volunteer and get out in the community and so we want people to be a hero and volunteer.

While the company specializes in Livescan fingerprints, they also offer other services like a Notary Public service, secure document shredding, and passport photos.

Tomorrow they're giving out free kids identity sheets for kids day. That runs from 11am to 3pm and you can find the new store at 6485 S. Rainbow.
