So after my first spotting trip to San Diego, I decided to go back before I returned to the UK to get some more footage from this incredible vantage point at one of the most notorious airports in the USA. This was filmed on a gusty afternoon on April 18th 2018.
San Diego airport is notorious for its approach whereby aircraft pass over downtown San Diego just above some of the high rise buildings & carparks before swooping down onto RWY27.

Another very busy hour at San Diego Airport. All that footage was filmed in just over an hour! A fantastic airport for filming with an endless flow of traffic arriving & taking off.
Again, unfortunately I didn't have my tripod with me in California so this was filmed handheld and in the windy conditions the footage is quite shaky in places.
