This is where it began for us, my Angel. The beginning of a beautiful love story. Thank you for making me a choreographer. It was the sincerest privilege of my life to be YOUR choreographer. Thank you for being my friend, and for believing in me-when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for opening doors for me, (literally and figuratively) you were always the perfect gentleman and the biggest and brightest cheerleader for those you loved. Thank you for generously sharing your light, and your gifts. You inspired us, showed us that magic was in fact real, and that no matter how hard the hand we are dealt in life, that we are strong enough to walk for miles, in order to find and create our own families, and resilient enough to know: that whether we’re happy or sad...that the best answer is always to dance it out! You were a brother, a soulmate, a source of joy, sometimes pain, but mostly the purest incarnation of love. I will always speak your name, honor you and cherish the times we shared. You walked through many fires and lived all of your nine lives...and then some. You came out stronger than ever, brave like the lion that you are. And you left with a smile on your face. You broke our hearts open with your sudden exit, but only to remind us how much more capable we are of love. I am proud of you, Danny. So, so, so proud of you! Thank you for letting me ride on your coattails, it was one hell of a ride. I look forward to sharing this video one day with my son, who is on his way in. I trust that your souls are dancing and that you will safely usher him here. I always had the sense that this life wasn’t the first that we shared together. I have a feeling we’ll go another round together someday. Till then my love, I’ll be down here flying without wings while looking up at you soaring with the biggest set I’ve ever seen.
