In order to reduce confusion when smoking new blends, I've set out to try certain tobaccos on their own -- isolated from other leaves, as close to natural and non-flavored as possible. My first two steps are Virginia and Burley, because I've heard they are the basis for many popular blends. This is the first of the Burleys. It was chosen because it has a great reputation and is considered a classic straighforward Burley.
