How to Automatically Sort data in Excel

In this video, I will show you how to create a Dynamic Drop Down in Excel that automatically sorts data. This powerful technique will help you save time and keep your data organized effortlessly. Here's a step-by-step guide to achieving this:

1) Right click on the sheet name - First, right-click on the name of your worksheet tab at the bottom of Excel to open a context menu.
2) Select Workbook in the Visual Basic Editor - Choose the "View Code" option to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor. In the editor, 3) Select "Workbook" from the left-hand drop-down menu.
4) Type a Range.Sort code - In the VBA editor, you will need to enter a specific code to apply sorting to your data range.
5) Select the first record in the sorting column - In the VBA code, identify the first record in your sorting column. This tells Excel where to start sorting.
6) Choose ascending or descending - Specify whether you want the data to be sorted in ascending or descending order.

Once you have set this up, any new records you add to the list will automatically be sorted in the specified order, and they will show up dynamically in your drop-down list. This method is incredibly efficient and ensures that your data remains organized without manual intervention.
