5. Grades of Maple Syrup

Ever wonder what it means to have different grades of maple syrup and how they are formed? This video explains the four different grades of Grade A maple syrup: Golden color with a delicate taste, Amber color with a rich taste, Dark color with a robust taste, and Very Dark color with a strong taste. Turns out that maple producers do not cook the syrup any differently. It is actually a natural process. All the grades are delicious but have their own unique flavor profile. Everyone has their own preference dependent upon the different ways they use maple syrup. What is your favorite grade of Pure Grade A NY Maple Syrup?
