Today I’m sharing another seed starting video as we continue building out flowers for my roadside flower stand. In this video, we’re adding in new perennial flowers and continuing with snapdragon successions!

I’m starting Eryngium (Sea Holly) for the first time and I have three different varieties going. Since this is a perennial, I won’t see blooms this year, but I’m focused on planting for the future. Especially perennials that are great for drying and add texture to bouquets. These plants will become a long term part of my cutting garden landscape.

We’re also planting a second round of snapdragons, including Group 2 and Group 3 varieties, to keep blooms coming steadily throughout the season!

🌱 Quick notes from this seed start:
• Sea holly germinated in 6–7 days
• Seedlings were were removed from heat mats on 2/7
• Eryngium will continue growing on in the basement under lights (need cooler temperatures to grow on)
