Description Star City Plus

As you know there is a lot of competition in 110 cc, so what does one have to do to get little edge over the rest? That's what exactly TVS has tried to do with its Star City Plus. This time TVS have made sure that Star City Plus stands out from the regular commuter motorcycle. The front has a massive masculine headlight, which now comes with semi-digital instrument console. It lacks a rev meter and has a digital fuel gauge, which is found inaccurate at times. The console also has the service light indicator and the TVS's ever popular eco and power mode indicator. This eco meter glows green for economy, when ridden logically and glows red when ridden hard. The overall design of the motorcycle definitely lends it a premium look and feel. The best part about this bike is its seat, which is not only wide, but also very soft. The seat is comfortable enough to ride in the potholes of city but could be a bit painful on long rides. It is equipped with same old 109 cc engine that churns out 8.3 PS of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. Coming to the handling, the steering is extremely light and the suspension is set up soft enough to absorb all the potholes bounce on the road. Braking is handled by 130mm drum at the front and 110mm drum at the rear.
Overall, it is decent commuter motorcycle with clean design. It is light, easy to ride in the city and returns the respectable mileage of 68 kmpl. TVS Star City Plus is going up against the big names like Honda Shine and Hero Passion and the price approx Rs 47000 (Ex-showroom) definitely does justice to this segment.
