Stebel Nautilus Wiring Kit

How to make a wiring kit for the Stebel Nautilus Air Horn.

Stebel Nautilus Wiring Kit Parts List:

14 AWG Wire
18 AWG Wire
20 AMP Inline Fuse
20 AMP Fuse (Make sure fuse will fit in fuse holder - i.e. standard fuse/mini fuse)
2 x 14 Gauge Ring/Loop Terminals (connect to battery)
1 or 2 x 14 Gauge Butt Connectors (for connecting inline fuse)
2 x 14 Gauge Female Spade Terminals (For connecting battery to horn & battery to relay 30)
4 x 18 Gauge Female Spade Terminals [To connect 18 gauge wires to horn (right side to 87) and to connect stock wires to relay (85 & 86)]
2 x 18 Gauge Male Spade Terminals (To connect 85 & 86 to stock wires)
Electrical Tape*
Zip-ties*
Wire tubing/spiral wrap*
Wire Stripper* (Good for crimping, can be found at dollarstore, use last two or three holes for stripping)

*Optional

- If you don't have male spade terminals you can close in the
tips of fork terminals.

- If the loop terminals don't fit over the battery bolt easily, keep trying slowly the bolt can stretch the loop.

Relay:
30 = Inline fuse = Battery Positive (+) Terminal

85 = Stock Horn Negative Wire (Brown on V-Star)

86 = Stock Horn Positive Wire (Pink with red on V-Star)

87 = Right Side (+ Positive Terminal) of Stebel Horn

Left Side of Stebel Horn (- Negative Terminal) = Battery Negative (-) Terminal
