In this video we will take you through the process of appliance testing at a class one IT-equipment using the Fluke 6500-2.
This kind of equipment has an earth connection which is connected to the accessible metal parts. Some of the metal parts may not be connected to earth, therefore a touch leak current test must be performed on these parts. At this kind of appliances, the insulation test may not be performed, as this could damage the equipment.
