Steak Tater Tot Poutine (Disclaimer, I don’t count cooking oil or salt and pepper in the 5 ingredients because we always have those)

Ingredients:
-1 bag frozen Tater Tots
-Two 8 oz ribeyes (mine were about an inch thick)
-Salt and pepper
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-1 cup brown gravy
-1 cup cheese curds
-2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Directions:

Take steaks out of the fridge and bring them up to room temperature.
Prepare tater tots according to package directions.
Season the steak on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a pan on high heat and add olive oil. Wait until oil is shimmery. The pan should have a loud sizzle when you put the steak in. If it isn’t sizzling, let it continue to heat up for another minute or two and try again.
Cook the steak for 3 minutes and then flip. Cook 3-4 minutes on the other side. It should be about 125-130 Fahrenheit for Medium Rare.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
Assemble the plate with tater tots, cheese curds, gravy, more cheese curds, steak and then parsley. Enjoy!
