Brace yourself for wild dance moves, when Ugandan musician, producer and pioneer Leo PaLayeng demonstrates his take on the Acholitronix genre - a style he has played a crucial part in defining and evolving. Since the early 2000s he has developed the genre, a hybrid of traditional instruments and ethnic music from the Acholi people in Northern Uganda and hyper-frenetic electronic music. PaLayeng also invents his own instruments that blend with the traditional sounds, tribal beats and electronic sounds in a highly infectious dance music which has brought him to international festivals such as WOMEX and UNSOUND.
