Indigenous children facing food security "crisis" in Canada's north

Record-high inflation in Canada has sent food prices soaring across the country, in some parts more so than others.

While one in five families reported experiencing food insecurity in Canada during 2022, Indigenous families were twice as likely to report not being able to afford food, according to Statistics Canada.
