Assam Coal Mines Accident: Indian Navy Joins Rescue Operations To Save Trapped Coal Mine Workers

Joint rescue operation of Indian Army, Assam Rifles, NDRF, SDRF teams and other agencies resumed. Indian Navy to join the operation to rescue 9 people who were trapped in a coal mine at 3 Kilo in Assam’s Umrangso area. Deputy Commandant, 1st Battalion, NDRF, N Tiwari said, “The operation was closed yesterday evening that we resumed this morning. We expect to reach our miners as soon as possible and rescue them.”
