INGREDIENTS:

500g all purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
300g lukewarm water
8g (1 pouch dry yeast)
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil

For the garnish:
200g sesame seeds
Spray bottle with water

Instructions:
Step 1.
In the bowl, add the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar and stir well. Cover and wrap with plastic wrap. Set aside for about 8-10 minutes.

Step 2.
Into the same bowl, add first the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix all the ingredients until the dough becomes an elastic ball. It should be smooth and elastic. Knead the dough for atleast 10 minutes.

Step 3.
In thw another bow, lightly coat with some oil, place the dough inside and cover with plasti wrap. Let the dough sit in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Step 4.
Turn the dough onto a clean surface working area and cut the dough divide into 12 pieces. Roll out the dough into a rope approx.35cm long. Form a circle and join the ends pinching them together.

Step 5.
Place the bread rings with a lined up parchment paper.

Step 6.
Spray with water all the bread rings (koulouria) and the dip in with sesame seeds.
Repeat with the same way the rest of the dough.

Step 7.
Transfer the bread rings on a large baking tray with parchment paper. Let them rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Step 8.
Bake in preheated oven at 200C for atleast 12-15 minutes. It should be golden and crusty.
