On my anniversary trip with my wife, I bought 2 ocarinas, one of them being soprano and the other being tenor. I also got a singing bowl. We just got home a couple hours ago, and I decided to practice with the soprano ocarina for the first time by... playing a single note into my microphone, which was connected to Chase Bliss Habit and MOOD MKII. Habit looped often, and I twisted the knobs that changed the pitch of the loop. I pretty much did the same thing on MOOD with the Clock knob, which brought forth the soundscape that you're hearing. I wish, however, that I would've had the microphone go to a volume pedal first so I could've cut out the "room noise" and not had the noticeable distorted "noise floor" at parts. A thing to remember for next time...
