The United Nations primary voice in Sarajevo Lt. Col. Gary Coward doesn't believe there is enough political will by Western leaders to mount air strikes against Bosnian Serbs in Zepa.

The U-N reports that rebel Serbs continue to pound the so-called "safe area" with mortar and artillery fire.

Meantime Serb gunners continued their shelling campaign on Sarajevo Wednesday killing two people.

The Serb onslaught against Muslim civilians in the Bosnian capital continued Wednesday.

A number of shells were fired from Serb positions into the centre of the city.

Eight shells were fired after each other which left a trail of damage.

One man was killed by shrapnel and at least 10 others were injured.

In a separate attack in a suburban area, this car was hit by a artillery shell.

A 12 year old boy was killed in the attack.

At the boy's home, his family wept openly in grief.

The shell landed as the boy played outside.

The family had only just returned to Sarajevo two months ago from Germany.

Rebel Serb aggression has reached fever pitch in their effort to gain as munch ground as possible before the winter months.

Meanwhile UNPROFOR's main voice in Sarajevo fired his own salvo at Western political leaders Wednesday.

Leiutentant Colonel Gary Coward doesn't believe there is the political will to stop Serbs forces bombing the so called safe area Zepa.

SOUNDBITE:
"Not only is there, as far as I can see from sitting here, little political will to conduct such a campaign but there is, as Alex just mentioned, a question mark about within that terrain whether or not actually on the ground it would actually blunt a determined attack in that close confines of the area around Zepa, but I think the important point is , is there the will in the capitals of the world to conduct a wide campaign, a bombing campaign around Zepa."
