Video Transcription: Hi guys, it's John here with realtruck.com. Today I'm going to show you how to install the ReadyLift SST two and one-quarter inch Leveling Kit onto this 2014 GMC Sierra Denali.
All right guys. We've got everything laid out, and you can see here that this kit comes with everything you need to get the front of your truck up and looking good going down the road. It comes with your top strut-mount extensions, your lower strut-mount extensions, and the new nuts to go on top, to hold these on in place, and also if you really need them, which you probably should, the instruction sheet.
So there you have it. There's only one thing left to do. Let's get this on that truck.
Okay guys, we've got the truck up in the air. The first thing we need to do of course is get these tires and wheels off of this thing, so that we can get in here to get to where we need to, to start taking stuff apart.
All right guys. Once our wheels are off, then what we want to do is remove our ABS cable bracket and our brake hose bracket, and also we'll make sure that we got that all loose so that it doesn't bind up. And then from there, we're going to remove our swaybar link pins on both sides of the truck, so let's get that stuff off, and then we'll move on from there.
What I usually like to do when I do this is just go ahead and screw that back in a couple of turns, just so you don't lose it and you remember where it goes. It just makes the process a lot easier and simpler. Now what I'm going to also do, is I'm going to disconnect this thing right here so that we can just let these be loose from each other. Okay, there, that's out of the way.
All right, now what we're going to do is we're going to go over to the other side, do the same thing over there, and get that side prepped and ready.
That's all out of the way, then we're going to remove the lower strut mount bolts, those are right here, and then from there we're going to disconnect our ABS cable up here on the top of the strut tower mount. And those just pop off, so let's get these off and then we'll get up there and get those. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!
