Assemblywoman Heather Hadwick represents California’s 1st Assembly District and brings a deep, firsthand understanding of rural life to the Capitol. Raised in Dorris and now running her family farm in Modoc County with her husband, two sons and bonus daughter, Shayla, Heather has worked as an elementary and high school teacher, a small business owner, and served as Modoc County’s Deputy OES Director—coordinating wildfire evacuations, disaster response, and public information during major North State emergencies.
