Supported by the Department of Handicrafts and Handloom Kashmir, the Namda Training Centre is helping preserve this centuries-old art form while empowering local women with hands-on training in felting and embroidery.

From raw wool to rich patterns, this initiative blends cultural revival with women’s empowerment, economic upliftment, and community pride. These vibrant, handcrafted rugs are not just products — they are stories of resilience and heritage.
