Epidemics shape the arts and art-making. Witness AIDS. Even in this early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are seeing the effect of the epidemic on art, music, and film. Additionally, the epidemic is reshaping major art institutions, from the film industry, live performance, and museums. This session will focus on these important impacts as well as longer-term effects of the epidemic for cultural expression and life.
