Funny NFL Taunts? - Roger Goodell's New Rule

After Golden Tate's taunting penalty into the end zone against the St. Louis Rams on Thursday Night Football, the NFL appears to be potentially taking a more harsh stance than a 15 year penalty. According to ProFootballTalk, the Commissioner Roger Goodell and the National Football League may revert to the NCAA's rule where a touchdown is overturned when the scoring team commits a taunting penalty. Is this a good way to limit the amount of "unsportsmanlike conduct" or should the defense simply play better to not be in that position to be taunted?
