उत्तरी सिक्किम में चल रही आपदा पर बचाव प्रयासों के समर्थन में, आज सुबह पाकयोंग ग्रीनफील्ड हवाई अड्डे से दो MI-41 और MI-39 विमानों ने सफलतापूर्वक चटेन की ओर उड़ान भरी। विमान में राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (NDRF) के 09 कर्मी शामिल हैं, जो अपने उपकरणों के साथ चल रही आपदा राहत के लिए सहायता प्रदान करेंगे।

In support of the rescue efforts on the ongoing disaster in North Sikkim, the first sortie of the day, two MI-41 and MI-39, successfully departed from Pakyong Greenfield Airport towards Chaten early this morning. The aircraft comprises 09 personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with their equipment, to provide support for ongoing disaster relief.

In Mangan, North Sikkim, heavy rainfall has triggered devastating landslides in the Theeng and Chungthang regions, causing significant damage to property and disrupting normal life. The district administration has confirmed extensive destruction, with rescue and relief operations underway.
