Adding the Advanced Ads Plugin for WordPress - Building a New Blog

Today, we're going to get the blog ready for monetizing with AdSense, affiliate links, and more using the Advanced Ads plugin. It's a great tool that has a lot of functionality in its free version. However, you'll unlock a lot of awesome features by upgrading.

I was able to try the pro version last year and there are a lot of features that I miss. As soon as I have the extra money, I'm going to upgrade.

In any case, Advanced Ads allows for automatic placement or you can use the Gutenberg block to place an ad or affiliate banner anywhere you see fit. In this video, I'll show you some of the features that you can use for free to help you get started managing your monetization of the blog.

One of the nice features is how Advanced Ads connects to AdSense. You can pull up all of your ad units within WordPress and add the coding directly to start showing them. However, you also have the option of copying and pasting the AdSense code directly from Google into an ad unit for Advanced Ads should you choose.
