EDIT 30.8.2009: Quite a few people have commented that they can actually understand the Vocaloids' Finnish here without reading the subtitles. That's very nice to hear because generating understandable Finnish has been one of my main goals as a Vocaloid producer. Thank you so much for your positive feedback!

Development history: I started the Vocaloid work around the 17th of July. It took me a few days to fully finish writing the notes and fine-tune the song. For some reason, this song caused me a lot of headache. I wanted it to be perfect, but there's still just something that isn't quite right. Having finished with Vocaloid, I moved on to adding reverb and volume to the sound file with Nero Wave Editor. Then I started making the video with Lipsync. The hardest bit was animating the flag: The probem with Lipsync is that it won't automatically animate gif-files in the video. That's why I had to animate the flag by manually situating each frame of the flag to the video, one by one. It was quite tedious, to say the least. :D I also had to fine-tune the mouth expressions of the singers, because the expressions generated by the automatic lipsyncing didn't fit the expressions of how the words were pronounced in Finnish. After I had generated the avi-file with Lipsync, I combined the music file with the video using Windows Movie Maker.
