It is a humble pleasure to the entire Lyceum International Schools Network that the official theme song of the spell-binding performing arts event of Lyceumers, ‘Maathra’, which is an icon of the Sri Lankan dancing, and also a turning point in the Sri Lankan schools cultural performances stage, has drawn a remarkable attraction of local and international community, adding another plus point to the prestige of the brand name, ‘Lyceum’.

Certainly the Maathra theme song is a unique creation and a fine combination of two young Sri Lankan artists, who have earned top fame for their exceptional performances in the field of cultural arts in Sri Lanka.

The versification of this Maathra theme song has been created by a young lyricist in the modern days, Mr. Nuwan Kumara Katugampola proving his creativity.

His lyrical creation is very well-matched with the appropriate music composition and rhythmic movements of another well known artist in this era, Mr. Sahan Ranwala, and this theme song is another evidence for his peculiarity in the field of Sri Lankan folk arts.

මෙරට දේශීය පාසල් ප්‍රාසාංගික කලාවේ පෙරළියක් කළ ලයිසියම් ජාත්‍යන්තර පාසල් සමූහයෙහි "මාත්‍රා" නිල තේමා ගීතය වනාහි ලාංකේය පමණක් නොව ජාත්‍යන්තර අවධානය දිනා ගත් නිර්මාණයක් වීම පිළිබඳව ලයිසියම් අපි නිහතමානීව සතුටු වන්නෙමු.
