Watch my bus journey from Mumbai to Mysore by Kaveri Travels' non-ac sleeper bus. I have already traveled once by Kaveri from Mysore to Mumbai. That bus journey was really awesome as that bus was not locked and we overtook many buses. Also had Kaveri vs Kaveri bus race. As per public request, I have done Mumbai to Mysore by Kaveri bus. This is my first time trip from Mumbai to Mysore. Kaveri bus now also has a new BS4 bus running on this route. There were two buses on the day I was traveling. First one is the 12 pm bus and the second is the 1 pm bus. I choose the second one thinking that this old bus would not be locked however this bus was locked at 80😞. Last time I traveled with Pradeep Anna who drove at 120+ speed. However, since its a day journey you get to see a lot of daytime coverage and buses as well. We also saw Sheethal bus and other Mangalore buses on the way. The SRS Scania looked charming as usual. The bus fare was Rs. 1700 and the journey time was 23 hours from start to end. The bus route would be Mumbai - Pune - Kolhapur - Belagavi - Arsikere - C.R. Patna - K.R. Pete - Mysore. However, I bus made its last stop at K.R.Pete as well as the bus was full for the return journey. But they paid the bus fare for the KSRTC bus till Mysore, which was a good gesture.
