Continuing the efforts of anime trailers for Thrawn trilogy, I present you with an anime rendition of Dark Force Rising! The thrilling sequel to Heir to the Empire from Timothy Zahn's fantastic Thrawn Trilogy.

This trailer was made to showcase what could be possible for the future of the EU, otherwise known as "Legends"

If you have followed my channel at all, you would know that I consistently campaign for Lucasfilm animating the legends timeline in 2D. For a fraction of the cost of even The Clone Wars, Lucasfilm could deliver the story of the Skywalker's and Solo's from the EU to our screens.

While we continue to work on a traditional hand-drawn 2D trailer, the process is long and time-consuming. For now, I have been experimenting with AI and am extremely impressed with the results, especially with a little photo-shopping and touch-up animation.

Subscribe to the channel for future updates. I would love to work on this project as much as possible going forward and of course won't stop lobbying for Lucasfilm to continue the "Legends" storylines in animation!
