After January 4 of 2022 you can find lots of BlackBerry OS 10 phones at a good price, as many people think the BlackBerry smartphones are useless now (thanks, stupid journalists). Ok, ok, in the US they may be useless 🙂
I bought this forgotten BlackBerry Classic for US $129 and it’s in perfect condition as it was never really used. In other words, saved it from oblivion (and turning in a e-waste).

UPDATE: I have solved the battery drain problem! I think from the beginning the reason of battery drain was my local cellular carrier (3Mob, it's a Ukrainian virtual network operator). The thing is, because it's a virtual operator, my SIM always switched between different networks (and used 'domestic roaming'), searching signal and thus draining the battery. Once I switched SIM cards and boom! ..no battery drain whatsoever.

UPDATE 2: I actually manage to get BlackBerry Blend to work, which is still useful for transferring (small) files, for example. What's more, there's also possible to use USB Mass Storage Mode (can be enabled in Settings - Storage and Access - Access using USB), which allows to transfer data directly from SD card to PC and vice versa.

Of course, it won’t find any OS updates for you as the needed BlackBerry servers are no longer. But you can still use this great utility to import .bar files and manipulate apps.
