Dedhound and GoodLordNo take Investigation Contract to find Rocky Alejandre, Lost in Microtech Cave

I mostly get lost in the cave and try to reduce my panic by mining Hadanite, while the more experienced spelunker, DedHound, finds Alejandre's body and solves the mystery of the missing caver.

The main problem is that I have a terrible sense of direction in caves. I usually bring a bunch of flares, but I of course forgot them and spent the whole mission being lost. Lesson relearned!

CHAPTERS

06:00 - DedHound and I land the M2 at the surface entrance to a cave where missing cave explorer, Rocky Alejandre was reported to have gone.
09:00 - The cave entrance is unclimbable, so we enter the cave's surface fissure in a Anvil Pisces C8R Rescue in case Alejandre (or we) need medical attention. DedHound and I split up to search the cave. I get very lost, because I forgot flares, so I mine some Hadanite until I can find a way out.
38:00 - I find my best node of Hadanite of the evening.
40:40 - While I'm bumbling around in the dark, DedHound finds Alejandre. The bad news is that he's been dead for quite some time. The contract is successfully fulfilled.
44:00 - DedHound and I find each other. The reason I couldn't get out is that the jump into this area was possible, but impossible to jump out in my heavy armor. I took off the heaviest pieces and DedHound tractored them across the divide, and I was able to jump to freedom!
49:10 - We find the cave's central shaft to the surface, and the Anvil Pisces C8R. We make the ascent out of the cave fissure and are greeted by daylight. Feels good.
51:30 - I land the Pisces in the M2 and we prep for departure.
54:20 - We break out of the dust layer and into the clear blue skies of Microtech, headed for space. The snowy mountains against Microtech's cold blue skies never gets old for me.
