NEET 2019 Maharashtra MBBS Admission Allotment List for government quota was released recently.

In this video, we are going to discuss the neet score cut off for various reservation categories in Round-1 Maharashtra mbbs admission counselling.

We have given neet score cut off for govt quota mbbs seats in Maharashtra govt medical colleges and private medical colleges.
For unreserved Category, the neet score cut off was 574 to get into govt medical colleges. for private collges, the cut off is 455.

We have taken 70% regional quota while picking cut off from the allotment list as 30% seats are filled first and then 70% regional quota seats are filled according to the allotment procedure.

For OBC, the cut off for govt college is 522 and for private college it is 451.

This means if you belong to obc and your neet score is greater than 451 then you are allotted private college mbbs seat in the first round Maharashtra state counselling. If your score is above 522, then would have got government medical college based on your choice.

The cut off for private college is lower because the tuition fees ranges between 5.3 lakhs/year to 14.5 lakhs/year.

If your neet score is very close to this cut off you can wait for the second round counselling. If not, then you have three options to choose from.
Out of the 321 available NRI quota seats for mbbs, only 26 seats are filled in first round counselling. these seats will be handed over to the medical college after state counselling and later converted to management quota seats by the medical college.

Fees for these seats are much higher than the management quota seats.
