“Sophiatown” presented by the Inclusive Creative Arts Programme (ICAP)

The Inclusive Creative Arts programme is an out of school out of work training programme funded by the National Arts Council. This multi-talented mixed ability group has been working on the play "Sophiatown" play since March 2020 as part of their drama classes. They worked on the script throughout the lockdown period.

“Sophiatown” was successfully directed by Smal Ndaba; assisted by one of the learners in the Inclusive Creative Arts Programme. Bra Smal managed to illicit remarkable performances from the group.
