Making a Back Yard Arcade with Age of Joy and Mixed Reality on the quest 3

using my quest 3 to set up a large mixed reality arcade in my back yard

To Download Age of Joy - Mixed Reality on your Quest 3
1. join the "Age of Joy" discord server at   / discord  
2. enter the "mixed-reality" channel
3. use the search bar and search for "AgeOfJoyMR.apk". find the google docs link with the most recent date and download that .apk file.
4. use "SideQuest" to install the .apk file onto your quest 3.

IMPORTANT TIPS:
1. MAKE SURE you run through the "Space Setup" in your quest 3 to set up your room with the walls, floor, ceiling, windows, doors, picture frames etc. you find this in the quest settings under something like room space
2. you will need both an arcade cabinet model (you can find lots of these on the age of joy discord server in the "cabinet-assets" channel) as well as the actual mame rom of the game if you actually want to play the game. The cabinet model will give you the 3D representation of the cabinet with all of its artwork, as well as the preview "attract screen" video playing on the cabinet. But if you don't have the rom, you won't be able to play the actual game.
3. You need to copy the files to your quest 3 headset yourself, you can use your OS file system with the headset plugged into your computer via usb. browse to your quest3 device, then go to "Android/data/com.ramos-AgeOfJoyMR". Copy your cabinet files into the "cabinets" folder. Copy your matching mame rom files into the "downloads" folder.
4. when you launch Age of Joy MR, it will unpack any of the cabinet files that you placed into the "cabinets" folder and will put the unpacked cabinets into the "cabinetsdb" folder automatically, and will delete the original cabinet file you placed in the "cabinets" folder. The rom files will always stay in the "downloads" folder. make sure you are copying over the .zip files of both the cabinet and the rom. you don't want to unzip those before you move them over to the headset. Age of Joy MR will use the zipped versions.
5. you can find a full and constantly updated list of cabinets and links to the cabinet downloads here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... (these cabinet files should work for both the regular Age of Joy app as well as the mixed reality version, not all have been tested in Mixed Reality so there may be some issues, but for the most part, they should just work).
6. You need to make sure you are using the MAME 2003 versions of the roms because that is what version of mame the app is using. Take a look at archive.org and search for "MAME 2003-Plus Reference: Full Non-Merged Romsets" you'll find what you need there
