Pepanat Rolls Recipe

Dough;
2 cups Warm water
2 tbsp Yeast
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 tbsp Salt
1 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Black Pepper
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Canola Oil
5 1/2 cups Flour

Filling;
2 1/4 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Flour
1 cup Melted Butter
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Food coloring (Optional)

Directions;
In a bowl put in water, yeast, sugar, salt, cinnamon and pepper mix until yeast is dissolved add eggs, oil and vanilla mix again add in flour and knead dough until smooth.
Cover and let rise 1 hour.
In the meantime make the filling.
In a saucepan combine sugar, flour, butter and vanilla mix and then add milk and food coloring.
Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Let filling cool.
Roll out dough on a floured surface. Spread cooled filling unto dough and roll up. Cut with a twine or knife put rolls in a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Let rise for 45 min to an hour .
Bake in a preheated oven at 375℉ for 20 minutes or until just lightly golden.
remove from oven and let them cool.
