Illustrated Recipe: EASY Homemade Tomato Sauce 🍅

It's tomato season in the garden, so I thought it was the perfect timing to combine two things I adore: drawing and cooking (although who appears cooking in the video is my mother, we cook together a lot of times!). As there's plenty of tomatoes now, we usually make/save tomato sauce to use in the winter. Hope you like this illustrated recipe, maybe I should start a new series!

RECIPE
~ Easy homemade tomato sauce ~

Tomatoes
Olive oil
Onion
Garlic
Salt
Oregano
*bell peppers and few leaves of basil (optional)

- Cut all the ingredients into a tray, season to taste with salt, oregano and olive oil.
- Bake in oven 200°C ~45 min (may vary depending on your oven).
- Blend it all in a food processor or with a magic wand. 
- Save the tomato sauce in glass recipients (which should be sterilised before). Let them cool, before storing in the refrigerator/freezer.
Note: the watery dressing that remained on the tray can be used to make a soup.
