3-phase motors have three windings. each winding has a beginning and a finishing point. these starting and finishing points of the motor windings have to be brought out to the terminal block to enable the motor to be connected in both star and delta configurations, and also to supply.
This video explains in detail, how to correctly mark the six terminals at the motor terminal block and how to correctly connect each of the six wires from the motor windings to each of the terminals.
